Mission Statement

Poe Performance is committed to provide motivated athletes with quality strength training to help them achieve their ultimate potential. Our athletes squat, deadlift, sprint, pull, push, and throw things during training sessions. Undeniable improvements in our athletes’ size, strength, and speed has resulted in superior athletic performances with fewer injuries.

Poe Performance is not a run-of-the mill “feel-good” fitness studio. There are no TVs or mirrors hanging on our walls. The chalk dust would cover them anyway. There are barbells and plates, dumbbells, medicine balls, chains, kettlebells, bands, tires, ropes, chin-up bars, glute/ham bench, leg press, sledgehammers, plyometric boxes, squat rack, swiss bars, cambered squat bars, VertiMax, power racks, weighted vests, bench press, trap bar, drag sleds, and a prowler....tools and equipment to help an athlete build real strength and speed.

Are you committed to take your athletic career to a new level? Are you willing to pay the correct price to achieve real athletic success? If you are accepted into the Poe Performance program, will you respect the equipment, the gym, your fellow athlete trainees regardless of sport, your strength coach, and those who pay your training fees?
